TECHNICAL SCHEDULE

Designed in accordance with European RCD requirements and CE certification, these regulations ensure that the Antarès Series 9 incorporates the minimum safety requirements  including:

CONSTRUCTION

Whatever the requirements, the Antarès Series 9 Exclusive satisfies every demand, with a large cockpit for fishing and luxurious accommodation for cruising. This versatile boat has all the benefits of robustness allied to marine quality which are the hallmarks of Antarès’ high reputation.

- HULL -

The single- skinned hull is GRP laminated with a sole reinforcement. A structural inner moulding absorbs the stresses at pressure points and spreads any loads, guaranteeing reduced strain on the hull. The hull is a deep V shape with tighter lines towards the stern and with lateral hydro- stabilising runners. This gives the boat exceptional stability both when moored and at high speeds, simplifies handling and allows for fast planing.

The hull colour is steel blue as standard.

- DECK -

The deck is of sandwich (polyester/ balsa) construction with a built- in inner moulding bonded to the deck to improve its finish. The foredeck is uncluttered and protected by a flared bow which deflects the bow wave.

- HULL/ DECK JOINT -

The hull/ deck joint is secured by a 250mm anodised aluminium rubbing strake.

- KEEL -

The keel is extended by a soft galvanised steel strip which protects the propeller.

ON DECK

- MOORING AND ANCHORING -

ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS

This boat comes in a single engine version. It has a 417L capacity aluminium fuel tank which guarantees increased range.

The engine compartment is foam insulated. By developing a partnership with motorists, Bénéteau’s research department has paid particular attention to noise and vibration reduction so as to provide its customers with even greater comfort.

A fuel gauge and an hour- counter are at the helm station. An added fire safety precaution is the provision of an opening through which an extinguisher can be passed into the engine compartment.
